Afternoon Delights.

Just chilling in the garden after an EPIC Op Shop expedition in Echuca. I got some killer buys including the featured sunnies which I was given for FREE (yes Op Shop grannys love me!) and the red singlet I am wearing with a flower brooch. The lovely pastel green skirt was thrifted from an Elmore Oppy and the glo mesh purse was aslo thrifted.
I also purchased a wicked pair of leopard print low cut gum boots that wreak coolness! So be on the look out for these in my next post!!

Hope you had a good relaxing weekend like me!

Steak Night.

How good is the feeling when you know you're going home? You get all excited about sleeping in your own bed and cuddling your pets you have not seen in awhile. And not to mention the amazing meals prepared with love and goodness. Yes, it can be said I do love coming home!

No one ever told me that Univeristy was SOOO much work! I am still amazed at what university study demands. To be honest I still haven't worked out my routine which is VERY frustrating! However, an awesome upside to uni life is the people watching you get to do whilst walking around campus. So many people to check out that it can sometimes be overwhelming!
As I was waiting for a lecture the other day, my eyes came across an awesome quote which stated "I only go to Uni to try out new outfit combinations" and how true it is! Getting dressed in the morning is definitely something I look forward too!

Today I thought I would feature my glasses and a cool bag I discovered at a local thrift shop. I am currently looking for a leather backpack for my BIG HEAVY school books so this thought inspired me to use a bag that "looked" similar to a backpack, if that makes any sense! I really like the earthy tones and textures that this bag has on offer so I am most definitely taking it back to Melbourne with me! The rest of the outfit is made up of a pair of Nudie jeans (which I thrifted for $4!! AMAZING), Rubi Shoes boots, a thrifted floral blazer and a Miss Shop striped shirt.

Hope your outfit combinations are going well!

Saint Pats Day.

Hellooooo! I have been so busy of late that I have put my blog on the back burner and I apologize for that! Uni is just so full on with all the lectures and tutorials then all the reading and homework that has to be done! Also, one must NOT forget about the amazing social life that coincides with tertiary education!
I have found that my weekend is no longer Saturday and Sunday but rather Tuesday and Wednesday! Bazaar I know!

I took these shots next to my clothes line which is located in a nice safe enclosed area so no one could see what I was doing! Super cheeky cheeky! I am wearing a rare green ensemble for Saint Pats day of course and it consists of the following items; Whittner brogues, Sportsgirl sheer tights with bows up the back and a green long sleeve, a vintage scarf and purse, Target watch and Diva ring.

My night consisted of heading off to the City and commuting around for three hours with no beverages and high heels (NOT a good combination!). All in all we travelled in taxis, on trams and even used the train! However we never actually managed to find a pub that would fit us! In conclusion my Saint Pats night was a wild adventure with really no destination and a lot a wasted time AND not to mention sore feet!

I hope your Saint Pats was better off than mine!

University Life.

Thrifted shoes, flower dress and necklace, American Apparel knee high socks, Sportsgirl beanie, Dotti bow bracklet and hair pin.

My first week of uni classes is nearly complete! Wow! I am still shocked that I am actually LIVING in Melbourne full time. Isn't it amazing?
Overall I am completely exhausted with a full 16 hour week of classes and lectures plus all the hours of partying and study time (of which I haven't really started yet!).
Also, I apologise for another photo shoot in my room but I haven't had the guts to stroll around with my tri-pod just yet BUT I will pluck up the courage soon, I hope.

Try and be courageous!

Orientation Week.

Thrifted army green sweater, Target bike shorts and watch, my DIY shredded tights, a variety of rings and my sisters "Nancy" boots.

Wow what a busy week it has been! I officially moved onto the Burwood Student Residencies at Deakin last Sunday, so this past week has been jammed packed with O-Week activities and parties!
Throughout the week I have dressed up in my pirate gear, an 80's get up and my "bright and tights". Also, I have consumed a weetbix biscuit covered with sunscreen (not recommended to try at home, it tastes rank!), a raw egg, part of a red chilli and drank A LOT of alcohol.
It has been an intense week with information overload but I can safely say I've met some amazing people and feel very excited about the year ahead!

I'm off to a "Smarty" party tonight!
Hope you're enjoying your weekend!
