Purple Blazer and Wayne Cooper.

I am wearing a thrifted blazer, blue shirt and scarf, Nudie jeans and my NEW Wayne Cooper pirate/biker boots

I finally had a chance to go home this past weekend! Yay! I hadn't been home for six weeks! It was great to catch up with all my lovely girl friends too!
And of course I was able to fit in a bit of op shopping as you know the op shops in the country shit all over the city counterparts! The purple blazer featured was one of my precious finds. Indeed I do love a good bright coloured oversized jacket! I love how it has a Zara vibe but only cost me $5. Win!

Also, this week I am attending the Deakin Commerce Society Ball on Thursday which will hopefully be really really fun because I am mega pumped. I am super excited about getting all dressed up and eating a proper meal. Thinking about the awesome food and free drinks will not help me get to sleep tonight!
Maybe I'll meet my prince charming at the ball. Perhaps I should wear glass slippers instead of my Jeffrey Campbells. Hmmm decisions, decisions.

Anyway I'm off to do some study.
Hope all is going well.

Out On The Town.

I have arrived home safe from my EPIC road trip along the Great Ocean Road and am already missing the beach even if it is freezing cold out. I will post some photos of my mini journey some time this week! So stay tuned!

This outfit is recreated from last weeks outing to celebrate the end of exams. I had to recreate as I was too excited to take photos as I only had a short amount of time to get ready and get my drink on!
Once again I am wearing my new Litas which I adore! Accompanying my shoes I am wearing a pair of American Apparel socks, Sportsgirl tights, a supre skirt, thrifted T and a vintage fur bag. I love the intense rich colour of this T shirt and I only managed to find it as I was walking out of a Camberwell Op Shop, so I was VERY lucky to discover such a beautiful treasure.

Hope your having a good time!

I'm in Heaven.

Everyone loves receiving presents in the mail but this was just something else. After an exam in the morning, my day didn't start out the greatest but when I noticed a beautiful small red slip in my mail I screamed and ran to the office to collect my parcel! I then ran back to my unit all giddy like a child on Christmas morning. I got a little excited. OK. Very  excited.

And yes I did in fact have my a Cinderella moment when I first tried them on. I think my feet felt they were finally home. Cheesy, corny? Definitely, but this was a defining moment. I have waited nearly a year to try these babies on and now I have a delicious pair of my own, swoon.

To my new love, you are not exactly the most conventional type of relationship but you truly are satisfying.

Jeffrey Campbell.

Picture from Anntika
FINALLY I have been able to purchase my very own pair of Litas!!! Hurray! Currently they are travelling through the post all the way from America! I can't wait to actually try them on to see if they are as comfortable as everyone says they are!

I am a hoping for a Cinderella shoe moment when they arrive!
Wish me luck!

Black Vintage Dress And Hot Red Shoes.

Exams are looming and the end is in sight, I can taste the pure bliss of having three weeks off. No obligations. No homework.  Just three weeks of free fun times! Yay I can't wait!

I found this dress a while back in a local op shop and recently found it hanging in my closet! Funny how you lose pieces of clothing  in your wardrobe then WAM! Its like you just re discovered something beautiful that you forgot you had. Sometimes being forgetful is a blessing in disguise.

These shoes from Wittner I just cant get enough of so I apologise in advance because you will be seeing them A LOT! Until I buy myself a pair of Jeffrey Campbells Litas these will be my heel of choice. They are shiny, tall and match my hair. What more can you ask for in a shoe?

Hope life is treating you well!

Zebra Stripes And A Big Yellow Rain Coat.

Finally I have found the perfect rain coat! I have been wanting one for a while and since Melbourne weather is very unpredictable a good coat is essential! This lovely creamy yellow feels and looks delicious and most importantly it was thrifted at my local oppy for only $4! Finding a fully lined coat with, get this, a "secret" pocket was a dream come true (everyone loves a good secret pocket!). It also reminds me of the bright yellow plastic raincoats but only a more subtle and fashionable version!

The rest of my outfit was inspired by Nicole from Gary Pepper Vintage (my most beloved blog!) it includes my new maxi skirt from Tempt, knee highs from Just Jeans, a vintage pair of sunnies and my beautiful cherry red pumps from Whitner.

Hope your weekend is treating you well!

Love At First Sight.

My friend Adam and I posing on a boat whilst cruising along the Yarra River. He is wearing a Dangerfield suit and I am wearing a thrifted dress and bag with my NEW Wittner pumps.

I found these amazing heels at Wittner and fell in love straight away! Not only do they match the colour of my hair perfectly but the elegant style is just so glamorous that I could not say no!
Indeed after a night filled with free alcohol on a boat and an after party, my feet are still recovering but the pain is so worth it! These pumps tower over all my heels and I am now looking at my others thinking I no longer think you are tall enough!
Patent leather, merlot red, I think I have died and gone to heaven! Thank-you to the designer out there who has created such a masterpiece for my feet!

Hope you're having a good time!!

I think I might have a thing for black shoes.

These are rmk heels I bought on the weekend just gone. I love the detail on the T-bar.

These are Whittner brogues I bought from Melbourne. I haven't quite worn them in yet but they are still fantastic.

These are Winsorsmith swede wedges. Super soft and hard wearing. Perfection.

Over the last month I have bought 3 pairs of shoes! I think this new fetish may have derived from reading too many glossy magazines and viewing blogs such at Fashiontoast. The humble shoe, I have come to believe can make or breaks an outfit. They are the defining point or the icing on the cake some would say. Plus I want to learn how to walk in heels all day, my ultimate goal is be able to go shopping in them.

Hope you are looking after your feet!
