Fully Frocked Up.
Wearing a dress hand crafted by me two years ago with a lot of help from a sewing genius and shoes by Jeffrey Campbell.
Wow. My first ever university ball was amazing! I had so much fun getting all dressed up and hanging around with great people. The Peninsula venue was EPIC! So much glamour and beauty, it was very impressive!
A definite highlight of the night was the fire dancers (Yes there were fire dancers!!) and the table service consisting of large amounts of free wine. Let's just say I was feeling extremely undertheweather yesterday but by having a such a good night it was worth it! I can't wait until next year!
Also, there's only 14 more days until the Mister Mode Fashion Night Market (3rd of September) so don't forget to buy your tickets! It will be a great night out with awesome fashion bargains, delicious drinks bought from a bus and epic tunes. Definitely get amongst it! I may or may not be supplying complementary lollies for those visiting my stall so you'll have to swing on by to find out!
Hope you're having fun!

Purple Blazer and Wayne Cooper.
I am wearing a thrifted blazer, blue shirt and scarf, Nudie jeans and my NEW Wayne Cooper pirate/biker boots
I finally had a chance to go home this past weekend! Yay! I hadn't been home for six weeks! It was great to catch up with all my lovely girl friends too!
And of course I was able to fit in a bit of op shopping as you know the op shops in the country shit all over the city counterparts! The purple blazer featured was one of my precious finds. Indeed I do love a good bright coloured oversized jacket! I love how it has a Zara vibe but only cost me $5. Win!
Also, this week I am attending the Deakin Commerce Society Ball on Thursday which will hopefully be really really fun because I am mega pumped. I am super excited about getting all dressed up and eating a proper meal. Thinking about the awesome food and free drinks will not help me get to sleep tonight!
Maybe I'll meet my prince charming at the ball. Perhaps I should wear glass slippers instead of my Jeffrey Campbells. Hmmm decisions, decisions.
Anyway I'm off to do some study.
Hope all is going well.

Double Denim Delights
Yesterday I spent a lovely day with my Mum and sister in the city. We ate heaps of delicious food, did a spot of shopping and even went to the theatre! We went and saw Love Never Dies, the sequel to the Phantom of the Opera and boy can they sing! The sets and scene changes were also amazing too! I thoroughly enjoyed it!
The only downer for the day was my feet they got quite sore after a long day of walking but maybe me wearing my Jeffrey Campbells attributed to this!
Nevertheless at around 6 O'clock I was able to find the most gorgeous Wayne Cooper pirate/biker boots on sale at Myer so my sore feet problems were solved! Thankyou Mr Wayne Cooper! I will try to put some photos up for you soon!
Featured in today's post is another outfit up for grabs at the MisterMode market. So if you like anything you see swing by the market on the 3rd of September!
Hope all is going well.

Change is in the air.
Wow I can not believe it is August ALREADY! Where has the year gone? It feels like only yesterday that I was packing to move to Melbourne and now I only have two more months before I have to pack up and move out for the summer. Crazy!
In the above pictures is another outfit featuring some of the clothing that will be on sale in September. It consists of the following pieces; a gold mesh maxi skirt, swede slip on shoes, a vintage miniature purse and a black sparkly dress (worn as a singlet).
You can buy pre sale tickets for the event from the Mister Mode webpage here. I would love you to come, it should be a pretty epic night out, bargain vintage buys, good tunes and a few cheeky drinks a night not to be missed!
Hope you're having fun!

News Update.
I have some exciting news! I have booked a stall at the Mister Mode fashion night market in September so for the next couple of posts, if you like what you see, you will be able to purchase it. How exciting!
With the help of my very talented friend Adam we had a day of shooting which thankfully the sun was able to make an appearance.
For this outfit the items that will be available for purchase include the thrifted bag, floral shirt, swede shoes and pleated skirt. Hopefully I will be able to make some more bow necklaces too so you peeps can have your very own custom necklace.
This weekend I am going to be featured on the Mister Mode site so check it out to get a glimpse of some other key pieces which will be on sale and to read a short interview.
Hope you're having fun!

Groovin.
These photos are from back in April before I went to the Groovin the Moo festival in old Bendigo town. I had to source some old pics because I am currently ill and feel too gross to take lovely photos to share with you so for that I apologise. I am trying my greatest to get better but yuk Melbourne weather is not doing much to help my plight however I have felt progressively better today so things might be looking up! Horray!!
I am wearing my DIY denim threads, Cotton On boots that now have too many holes so I can't wear them anymore (devastating) and a thrifted T and sweater.
Looking forward to warmer days.

Highlights.
Just thought I'd show you peeps a couple more shots from my recent road trip!
I am wearing my thrifted pair of Nudie jeans, payless boots, a thrifted shirt, sweater and jacket, teamed with a Sportsgirl beanie and Rubi Shoes socks.
Hope you having a fine weekend! Currently it is gross and rainy here in Melbourne town nevertheless I could always pull on a pair of wellies and find some epic puddles! Fun times await!

Treasure Hunt.
Going on a hunt for Op Shop treasure always brightens up my day! And the expedition to Echuca was very successful with a very promising haul of vintage beauties including an amazing Ojay camel coloured jacket and gorgeous white glo mesh bag that is in tip top shape! Indeed I was a very happy shopper!
For my mini adventure I wore a maxi skirt from Tempt, Payless boots, Rubi Shoes socks, a vintage purse and a thrifted shirt and sweater.
Hope you had a splendid weekend!

Road Trip 1.
This is me hanging out at the Sorrento pier waiting for the ferry to arrive. I am wearing my favourite Nudie jeans, Payless boots, thrifted yellow coat, bag and scarf and my Dad's old sweater.
Driving onto a boat is a very surreal feeling and rather odd. Nevertheless the small 40 minute journey across the bay was rather enjoyable as me and my besty entrained ourselves with the free colouring in that was available. It was a very competitive colouring session and rather difficult as most of the pencils were blunt! The two of us both 20 would of looked rather comical surrounded by three buckets of pencils and two colouring sheets which were most likely intended for children under the age of ten.
Embrace your inner child people. Its fun.

Out On The Town.
I have arrived home safe from my EPIC road trip along the Great Ocean Road and am already missing the beach even if it is freezing cold out. I will post some photos of my mini journey some time this week! So stay tuned!
This outfit is recreated from last weeks outing to celebrate the end of exams. I had to recreate as I was too excited to take photos as I only had a short amount of time to get ready and get my drink on!
Once again I am wearing my new Litas which I adore! Accompanying my shoes I am wearing a pair of American Apparel socks, Sportsgirl tights, a supre skirt, thrifted T and a vintage fur bag. I love the intense rich colour of this T shirt and I only managed to find it as I was walking out of a Camberwell Op Shop, so I was VERY lucky to discover such a beautiful treasure.
Hope your having a good time!
xx E
