Double Denim Delights
Yesterday I spent a lovely day with my Mum and sister in the city. We ate heaps of delicious food, did a spot of shopping and even went to the theatre! We went and saw Love Never Dies, the sequel to the Phantom of the Opera and boy can they sing! The sets and scene changes were also amazing too! I thoroughly enjoyed it!
The only downer for the day was my feet they got quite sore after a long day of walking but maybe me wearing my Jeffrey Campbells attributed to this!
Nevertheless at around 6 O'clock I was able to find the most gorgeous Wayne Cooper pirate/biker boots on sale at Myer so my sore feet problems were solved! Thankyou Mr Wayne Cooper! I will try to put some photos up for you soon!
Featured in today's post is another outfit up for grabs at the MisterMode market. So if you like anything you see swing by the market on the 3rd of September!
Hope all is going well.

Blacks hats and red roses
I was checking out the latest pics on Lookbook when I stumbled upon Ebba Zingmark.
The tights here remind me of Miu Miu embellished tights minus the beads and the white Docs finish off the look nicely by complementing the tights and black jacket. What's more the composition of the photos is truly inspiring, you may find some shots of myself following the same idea in the near future..
Remember; red is best.

Outfit inspiration
These photos come from the Glittery Skin blog which I just discovered TODAY! I love this simple effortlessly cool look and how the outfit is given an edge with the laddered up tights. Plus the boots are amazing, are they not?
Hope you're feeling inspired

I got my new blue jeans on
Isn't it weird how it is is spring here in Australia and yet I am purchasing jeans and jumpers? I think I've been reading too many international blogs and am starting to get a bit confused what season I am actually in.
I have been after a pair of Nudies for TWO years and have finally got myself a pair ( please excuse my squeal of delight). Hurray. And they are soo comfy that I don't want to take them off.
Here I am wearing my NEW Nudie jeans, second hand leather jacket (I love the fringing detail), thrifted Country Road singlet and Op shop shoes.
Happy Halloween.

Leopard print and floral blouses, good times all round
To get the look of the distressed denim I used a cheese grater, scissors and a coarse sand paper. Hopefully after a few washes the bottom of the shorts will fray up nicely. Another tip too, I used the studs off an old studded belt that was laying around. So all up these shorts, which are Levis', cost me under $5.00. Fashion DIY on a budget. I like it.
Happy creating
